My first thought seeing this picture was HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT. That black artificial surface would make the temp go up a couple of degrees. It would probably be to hot too sit and whisper to your friends, or trade pokemon cards even under the bridge. The play areas around here tend to have wood chips softens falls, but doesn’t create a hot spot in the park.
My 2nd thought was cool a metal slide that would actually work.
