When a mom couldn’t get her son to school, she put him in a Lyft and walked away. Is that a crime? Discuss, over at Let Grow.

My Mom has been doing this for years and it has worked out fine I had never really had a bad experience in terms of my mom putting us in a lyft to get to school. How do you expect us to get to school we didn’t live by a bus stop to get to school, my mom didn’t have a car, and we were never misbehaving or being annoying in the car. I know Lyft is not supposed to pick up kids but to honest I don’t think they care as long as they’re getting paid.

I have absolutely thought about using this service for summer activities as I’m a single mom and can’t take time to run them everywhere during the day! Had no idea of their policies though. As for getting arrested, that seems so absurd to me.
