I had a similar experience in a Verizon store last spring. A mother was completing a transaction and trying to hold her fussy baby on her hip while filling out forms etc. I offered to hold the child for her and was allowed to do so. Many minutes later The transaction was complete. The child was back in her stroller and a mother and this grandmas were thankful for the opportunity!
