I have a six-year-old autistic son. He is an eloper. My husband and I have taken necessary precautions to keep our son safe. We have deadbolts that are in reverse, so you need to have a key to get out of the house. We have alarms on all the windows and the doors. Even a blast on the town page that we live on, alerting the town about our son. Anytime he has gotten out I have found him within minutes. DCF now has custody of him. People are so fast to collect the police and DCF. I wish that local authorities would look up the term what neglect is. TCM also needs to learn this term. Neglect is when you purposefully do not pay attention to your children. And it is the sad truth that autism parents are in fear of authorities because they look at us as neglectful parents. That’s not the case. Being in the middle of a living nightmare, that was caused by Uneducated authorities . I am also a disabled mom. So I am also being discriminated against. This is a town appointed Police Department. I was told by one very kind officer that he was forced hundred to rest by the chief to call Lynn to DCF with a complaint of neglect against me and my husband. What the report stated was not at all what the cop Sent in! Because when this cop learned that I wanted to put a formal complaint in against him he made a point of stopping by our home. He couldn’t believe what I told him. This is one of the kindest cops I have had the privilege of meeting. And I said well I’m just warning you that someone really embellished and lied about me. I’m not sure if it was the chief of police because it does go through several hands, or if it was DCF. But they assumed I was home alone with my son when I had a friend who is here with me for two solid weeks. I needed some extra help. I am not a stupid parent. I have two grown children from a previous marriage. DCF has done nothing but lie to us. My poor little boy has wound up in the hospital due to medical negligence by the group home he’s in right now. And there seems to be no end to this legalize kidnapping. They purged themselves to a judge. They got the order at 8 AM and waited until 4:45 PM just show up at my house and surround me like a common criminal all the while I am holding my son who is crying, I’m crying, my friend who was with me was crying. How is this in my son’s best interest? I also have a grown son living with me. You could compare this to Grown adults with Alzheimer’s who live with their grown children. They wander off too. But you never see these people being dragged into court and having their loved one put in a home. And it’s just as dangerous. But pointing a finger at parents who were doing an extremely stressful job, who were loving parents, and are being put under the microscope. 50% of autistic children wander off. Does that mean every single parent of an autistic child is in danger of losing their child to the system? And I am one of these parents that believe it has to do with vaccinations that cause autism. I have personally been genetically tested. Along with my autistic son. neither one of us carry the gene that creates autism. So it’s time to start looking into environmental factors, and these vaccines that are pumped into our kids. But new legislation has to be passed. It is our constitutional right to be able to raise our children without interference from the government. Since when does our government overlook our constitutional rights as United States citizens? They are breaking their own law. They are violating our rights. Instead of helping those parents are those children that are being beaten and killed by a horrible parents, they are targeting special needs children. And shame on our government for allowing it to happen. As parents need to come together and make some drastic changes. You even have to fear allowing your children to be outside to play. I asked DCF if that’s against the law and they said yes. So even if you have a child who is not artistic and you allow them to go outside to play and you were not there to watch them you are considered a neglectful parent. And I got that straight out of the horses mouth. To think that we have to fear the fact of having children, because heaven for bid they are allowed to be children, and have the privilege of playing out of doors like our pediatricians tell us to do. But not our government. And they wonder why obesity is such a problem. They create the problem now they need to clean that up. All I know right now is I want my son home. And I am turning the tables on TCF and I am filing a claim of medical negligence against Them! To know that my son was brought to the hospital for dehydration within a matter of a week from being taken from me, makes me sick. I’m sorry but this is not right. Right now he is in a group for troubled children. He’s autistic and mentally retarded. This is the worst place he could be. And until you go through this nightmare you could never begin to understand. This is like negotiating with a kidnapper. DCf does not offer help. I tried putting services in place myself and they slammed on the brakes because they had to approve it. I was never told. And don’t even think about trying to get information about your child. They don’t strip you of your parental rights but they treat you like you have. Why this corrupt agency is allowed to continue operating is a question I want answered. And it all comes down to money. They get paid for every child they take . Right now in the state of Massachusetts 80,000 children are in foster care. Those numbers are outrageous! 160K parents are living through this nightmare with me. And yes there are horror stories of children that are killed in foster care. They become lost in the system. These are not trained professionals. Sorry to make this so long but , This is a real problem.
