Saw this “ad” at the US Play Coalition Conference where I was speaking  last week. I couldn’t wait to hear Justin Bogardus‘ session, “Does Nature Have a Marketing Problem?” Maybe you’ve already seen his hilarious answer:

And here’s the next one. Now go outside! L.

This is your body on nature.
This is your body on nature.

But what about athletes? It sounds like nature is a performance-enhancing substance. That would be doping, which is cheating.

I suppose they could get Therapeutic Use Exemptions.

I have a bad reaction to nature. I’ve never been able to take it.

Maybe it’s just best to stay inside your home as much as possible since the very act of walking outside your front door is crime-these days.

This goes hand-in-hand, I think, with the book, Last Child in the Woods.

For topical use only, may be harmful or fatal if swallowed. Discontinue use if rash persists.

Before taking Nature, ask your doctor if your heart is strong enough for Nature. Seek immediate medical attention if you have the symptoms of a stroke or heart attack.

Serious side effects include snakebite and mauling by a bear, but these occurrences were rare. More common side effects include hayfever, poison ivy, and small children screaming “ewwww!” when they realize they’ve just stepped on a slug, barefoot.

Do not consume excessive alcohol if you are taking Nature.

“Serious side effects include snakebite and mauling by a bear”

These still sound better some of the side effects I hear about from prescription drugs!!

“Studies have shown that Nature can save you from your neutered existence.”

      Ha!
Love these ads and wish they were actually had air time.

And only James could write a black box warning for Nature. Well done.

I love it! I get a chuckle watching this every time I see it!

This here “Nature” sounds like a vary dangerous powerful substance. Simply requiring a perscription is not gonna be enough to Protect the Children! Congress must act immediately to plase “Nature” on the schedule of restricted drugs. So’s we can get started bustin hippies’ heads fer usin it.
